I’ve had similar questions this week about dry bumps on the skin and dry red bumps. Even though winter is coming to an end, the heat is still on in most of the U.S. This makes the air dry and our skin even drier. Frequently these groups of dry bumps are found on the back or the back of the arms.

A group of different types of skin care products.Following are a few tips to help with those annoying bumps on your skin:

  • Even though a nice warm shower feels great in the winter, keep your use of hot water to a minimum, as it dries the skin even more.
  • Gently exfoliate the areas where these bumps are located. These bumps are a buildup of skin cells and need a little help sloughing off. Try using a little Rough Love body scrub to help you exfoliate the dead cells – you will love this salt mud fusion with the fabulous aroma!
  • If you’re not dirty, don’t lather these areas every time you shower!
  • One of the most important things you can is give these areas of your dry skin lots of soothing moisture. Divine skin hydrator, our in-shower body moisturizer, is perfect for locking the moisture in your skin. Shea butter, B5 and sodium pea are just three of the wonderful ingredients in Divine which help soothe and hydrator your dry and irritated skin. It’s gentle enough to use every day and gives fabulous results! Read more about Divine skin hydrator and how to use it here.

I hope these tips help with your dry skin and especially with those aggravating skin bumps. Following these tips will give you the beautiful, softer, more supple skin you desire just in time for Spring’s sleeveless fashions!
